조슈아 메식(Joshua Messick)은 미국 전역 해머드 덜시머 챔피언십 우승 경력을 지닌 세계적 명성의 연주자이다. 그의 음악은 영화적이고 뛰어난 표현력을 지닌 접근으로 평가되며, 민속음악, 월드뮤직, 클래식 장르를 융합해 깊이 있는 몰입감과 풍부한 음향적 사운드를 구현한다. 그의 덜시머 연주는 애니메이션 영화, “메리와 마녀의 꽃”과 수상작 비디오 게임 “갓 오브 워 라그나로크”에 생동감을 불어넣는 사운드로 선보였다.

Joshua Messick is a National Hammered Dulcimer Champion and internationally acclaimed performer known for his cinematic, expressive approach to music. Blending elements of folk, world, and classical genres, he creates immersive soundscapes that resonate deeply with audiences. His dulcimer playing has been featured in the animated film Mary and the Witch’s Flower and the award-winning video game God of War Ragnarök.

Joshua has released multiple albums, including Pure Hammered Dulcimer, Woodland Dance, and Wonderscape, which he composed, recorded, and mixed in his home studio. He has toured across the United States, Japan, India, and Thailand, and helped design the DulciForte hammered dulcimer for Master Works.
