墨韵 Moyun / China

천이루(Chen Yiru, 예명: 모윤/墨韵)는 중국 전통문화를 알리는 고쟁(古筝) 연주자이자 음악가이다. 쓰촨대학교 중국문학과를 졸업하고, 미국 일리노이대학교 어바나-샴페인(UIUC)에서 동아시아 언어문화학 석사학위를 취득하였다.

그녀는 2018년과 2019년 빌리빌리(Bilibili) ‘TOP 100 크리에이터’에 선정되었으며, 빌리빌리 10주년 공로상을 수상하였다. 또한 영화 “플래시 걸”(闪光少女)“에서 등장하는 캐릭터 “첸즈다런”(千指大人)의 실존 모델로 참여하였다. 대표작으로는 6천만 뷰를 기록한 “센본자쿠라”(千本樱)와 유튜브에서 1천만 회 이상 재생된 “호텔 캘리포니아”(Hotel California)가 있다.

천이루는 핑거스타일 기타 기법을 고쟁에 접목한 새로운 연주 양식인 “핑거스타일 고쟁”(指弹古筝)의 창시자이다. 이 혁신적 시도는 “1인 밴드 형식”을 가능하게 하였으며, 고쟁의 표현 영역을 한층 확장하였다.

그녀의 작업은 2D 음악과 팝 음악을 중국적 요소와 융합하여, 중국의 무형문화유산을 세계 문화와 접목하고 있다. 음악을 통해 더 많은 사람들이 중국문화를 경험하고, 이해하며, 사랑하게 되기를 바라고 있다.

Chen Yiru (墨韵 / Mo Yun) is a Chinese-style musician, guzheng performer, and artist dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture. She graduated from the Chinese Literature Department at Sichuan University and earned a master’s degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

She was recognized as one of Bilibili’s Top 100 Creators in 2018 and 2019 and received the Bilibili 10th Anniversary Achievement Award. She also served as the real-life model for the character “Qianzhi Daren (千指大人)” in the film Flash Girl (闪光少女). Her notable works include Senbonzakura (千本樱), which has over 60 million views, and Hotel California, which has been played over 10 million times on YouTube.

Chen Yiru is the founder of a new guzheng performance style called “Fingerstyle Guzheng (指弹古筝)”, which applies fingerstyle guitar techniques to the guzheng. This innovation enables a “one-person band” format and expands the expressive possibilities of the instrument.

Her work blends 2D music and pop music with Chinese elements, integrating China’s intangible cultural heritage with global culture. Through her music, she hopes to allow more people to experience, appreciate, and love Chinese culture.
